Waterhay Boat Club offers one of the region’s few dedicated pathways for junior para athletes, alongside inclusive programmes for adaptive rowers and paddlers. With accessible water, coaching and a welcoming culture, where every athlete belongs, progresses, and thrives.

For ages 12–18, Waterhay opens the door to sport — no assumptions about experience, background or means. Bring your enthusiasm. We provide supportive coaching, mixed crews to share experience and space to grow on calm, welcoming water in a safe environment.

For adults returning to the water, starting with purpose, or training alongside the next generation, Waterhay offers structured coaching, committed crews and a club environment focused on progression, consistency and shared standards of inclusivity.
Waterhay Boat Club is being developed with serious sporting ambition. Membership structures are being finalised; register interest to receive early updates, priority access and the opportunity to join a focused club from the beginning.

Visiting clubs are welcome for single sessions or a full season — easing transport and rigging when home water is off-limits. Train on a secure, spacious course with few distractions, well suited to consistent winter preparation and uninterrupted mileage.
Stage a sprint canoeing or rowing regatta at Waterhay, with a straight, dependable course, generous rigging space and calm surroundings — ideal for well-run racing where the focus stays firmly on the water. Contact us to discuss this potential further.
